Organic Lavender – Fine Essential Oil

Lavender – Fine, also known as true lavender or lavender officinale, is most appreciated for being the most fragrant of the lavenders. Lavender essential oil is the most well-known and the most frequently used of virtually any other essential oil. The Romans used it to perfume their clothes and their baths. The word ‘lavender’ comes from the Latin ‘lavare’ which means ‘to wash’. Lavender fine essential oil is used in aromatherapy for its relaxant properties (sedative, calming, nervine) to help relieve nervousness, irritability and worry and to help with sleep.

Chemotyped essential oil, 100% pure, natural and authentic.

Ingredients: Organic Lavender Fine Oil (lavandula angustifolia) from flowering top (Steam distillation).

Directions of Use: Inhalation Add 4 to 12 drops of essential oil to a bowl of steaming hot water/facial steam machine. Inhale slowly and deeply for 5-10 minutes.

Caution: For external and occasional use only. Do not take orally. Do not use essential oils undiluted. Keep out of reach of children. If accidental ingestion occurs, seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil. Pregnant or nursing women should consult a health care practitioner prior to use. May cause allergic reaction (e.g. irritation of the respiratory tract) in which case, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.
