Real bread without wheat! In addition to wheat, rye is the only other cereal whose flour is breadmaking. This product is made only from whole rye flour. It does not contain any wheat or yeast. It is therefore ideal for people with allergies to wheat. We end up appreciating its very pronounced taste and very dense texture. Try grilled with maple syrup or even with cream cheese and smoked salmon!

Rye (secale cereale) is also an ancestral grain. It is rich in fiber, antioxidants and minerals (especially manganese and selenium). Its effectiveness has been shown to prevent cancer, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and intestinal disease.

Rye contains gluten but not gliadins, the allergenic portion of wheat gluten. In addition, the gluten content is much lower; This is what explains the lack of elasticity of the slice of bread and its density. Many of our slightly gluten intolerant customers have adopted this bread as an acceptable substitute.
